Ottawa Ontario based Singer-Songwriter Rick Knowles is the architect behind this soulful Country Pop inspired sound. Powered by unbreakable harmonies with seamless songwriting adeptness that combines the story of both the joys and heartaches of life. 

 

Growing up in a small town just west of the city, Rick continued to hone in on his craft. Playing live every weekend, writing every day, eating, sleeping and breathing music! He started out writing and producing pop songs for himself and other artists, then proceeded to carve himself out as a modern Rock artist with two internationally selling successful rock albums with sales across Europe, Asia and Australia; where he won an online international music contest from Whotune with a trip to Anaheim, California to perform at the NAMM festival! In 2014 he heard an artist by the name of Keith Urban and was instantly hooked on this new country sound! 

 

As a multi instrumentalist, his 2017 debut EP  "Inside Out" was written, performed and produced by Rick himself. His very first country single “Oklahoma Rain” garnered national radio airplay on Sirius XM CBC Country and charted there at #22! Following that up Rick released two more successful singles “My Seat,” and “Candy,” both of which saw national airplay as well!

 

His fourth single “Does Anybody Know” drops on January 10, 2020, along with an official video release as well! In support of the new single, Rick will be performing across Ontario in the coming months on a radio tour, and an in-store live performance at various Chapters/Indigo locations in Ottawa, Belleville, Peterborough, Ajax and Kitchener.
